My Favorite easy recipe

1 can navy beans 28 oz
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup tahini (sesame seed butter)
1 clove garlic
2-3 Tbls of olive oil
Salt to taste. Use Celtic , Himalaya or at the least sea salt

Drain liquid off beans.
Put all ingredients in a Cuisinart or other food processor.
Blend until desired consistency.
Sometimes I put in cilantro, or parsley. OR even beets.
Sometimes I use black beans and it makes the Hummus purple. Really pretty.
Best served with carrots, celery, cucumber or other vegetables.
Way more healthy than corn chips.

Healthy Food Tips

Ditch the Carbs.

Carbs are the worst thing to eat for breakfast.  It starts the roller coaster of sugar spikes-high and low.

The best breakfast is protein and fat.  Like an omelet, or even a protein smoothie with a little coconut oil in it.  Why not put some spinach in the smoothie also?  Make it super healthy, great way to start the day.
